God Said, “I, the Lord, have called you into righteousness. I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the gentiles; to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from their prisons, and to release from their dungeons those who sit in darkness” (Isaiah 42:6-7). Therefore I must do what I can with what I have to be a healer, a caregiver, and a messenger of hope.
Jesus said to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper, and cast out demons — to give as freely as I have received (Matthew 10:8). The more I pay attention to fixing the small piece of world I see each day, the more I see what needs to be fixed in my world each day.
A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough (Galatians 5:9). Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much (Luke 16:10).
We ought not to be weary of doing little things for the love of God, for God regards not the greatness of the work, but the love with which it is performed.
Every moment and every event of every man’s life on earth plants something in his soul. So consider each day as a gift; and use each to your full ability. For who knows when we will no longer be able to do so. Jesus came to set the earth on fire, and He wants to use you as His kindling.
