Heavenly Father, thank You for the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus, which – through Your eternal Spirit – purges my conscious from dead works in order to enable me to serve You (Hebrews 9:14). Thank You for redeeming me from an empty way of life, through the precious Blood of Christ who became an eternal sacrifice for my sins (1 Peter 1:18-19). Through Your Son, who shed His precious Blood for me, I am able to believe in You, Father, because Your Word assures me You raised Jesus from the dead and gave Him glory, so all my faith and hope can be placed in You (1 Peter 1:21). Through the Blood of Jesus, You have reconciled me to Yourself, and being reconciled, I am likewise saved through His life (Romans 5:10). Thank You so much for the power of His Blood.
Gracious Father, I come in the name of Jesus to plead His blood on my life and on all that You have given to me, and on all that over which You have made me a steward. Your Word tells how the Israelites applied sacrificial blood to the doorposts of their houses in order to keep the plague from coming near their dwellings (Exodus 12:13). Following Your example to them, I claim the protective power of Jesus’ blood for me and my family, Lord. I plead the blood of Jesus on the portals of my mind, my body which is the temple of Your Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), my emotions, and my will. I believe I am protected by the blood of the Lamb that gives me access to the Holy of Holies, Your Throne (Hebrews 9:11-14).
Lord, God, You have said that the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). Thank You for His blood that has cleansed me from sin and sealed the New Covenant of which I am a partaker (Hebrews 13:20). Father, even as I lie down to sleep, I plead the blood of Jesus upon my life – within me, around me, and between me and all evil and even the author of evil.
You teach me in Your Word that I am able to overcome the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of my testimony (Revelation 12:11). Therefore, I plead the protection of the Blood of Jesus Christ, over me and my home and my family. I plead the blood of Jesus on my children my grandchildren, and their children and on all those who you have given me in this life. I praise You for Your promise that assures me that when You see the Blood of Christ Jesus, You will be sure to protect us. I know You will plant Your hedge of protection around us (Job 1:10), because I have vowed: as for me and my house, we will serve You, Lord, (Joshua 24:15).
Thank You, gracious loving Father!
Thank You, Father for sending Jesus to be a sacrifice for me, and I respond to this fact of my faith with total trust in the power of His Blood. With Your help, I will declare His righteousness to the world, and I will accept the certainty that all my sins have been fully remitted through His Blood (Romans 3:25). In the same way that I have been justified through His Blood, I know I will be saved from Your wrath through Him (Romans 5:9). Father, thank You for the power of Jesus’ Blood in my life.
