Heavenly Father, I seek to continually abide in Christ Jesus (1 John 2:28). I know in my spirit that Christ Jesus is all and is in all (Colossians 3:11). All things were created by Him and for Him; He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:15). I realize this abiding in Him is the key to fruitfulness in my life.

Jesus is the vine, and I am His branch. I need to continually abide in Him, for without Him I can do nothing (John 15:4-5). Father with all my heart I desire to keep Your Word. Please perfect Your love in me so I will constantly abide in Jesus, and learn to walk as He walked, and to love as He loved (1 John 2:5-6). As long as I love my brethren, I remain in the light (1 John 2:10). As long as Your Word lives in me, I can overcome the evil one (1 John 2:14).
What I have heard from the beginning I must allow to remain in me, for then I will also remain in the Son and in You, my Father (1 John 2: 24). As His anointing teaches me about all things, it teaches me to remain in Him (1 John 2:27) above all things. Those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them (1 John 3:24). If I obey His commands, I remain in His love (John 15:10). Whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son (2 John 9).
Father, You taught me that everything spiritual is handled by the Will. So, I Will to abide in Jesus, and I Will to let His words abide in me. I thank You for Your promise, Lord, that this will enable me to ask for what I need, knowing it shall be done (John 15:7); that my fruit will bring You much glory (John 15:8).
With Your graces, I will follow His example and walk in His steps (1 Peter 2:21). I pray now, Father God, asking You according to the riches of Your glory, to strengthen me with might by Your Holy Spirit in my innermost being, so that Christ Jesus may fully dwell and abide in my heart by faith, and so that I may be rooted and grounded in that love (Ephesians 3:16-17).
Thank You for the blessings of abiding in Christ Jesus!
