We Rely On God’s Faithfulness

I will give thanks to Thy name, for Thou hast worked wonders, plans for men long ago with perfect faithfulness (Isaiah 25:1).

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

I will not take My love from Him, nor will I ever betray My faithfulness [let My promise to him fail] (Psalm 89:33).

His faithful promises are your armor and protection (Psalm 91:4).

[Jesus] was faithful to the One who appointed Him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house…  Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house, testifying to what would be said in the future.  But Christ is faithful as a Son over God’s house.  And we are His house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast. (Hebrews 3:2, 5-6)

He had to be made like His brothers in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in service to God… (Hebrews 2:17)

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

Abraham… was enabled to become a father because he considered Him faithful who had made the promise (Hebrews 11:11).

Your words are trustworthy, Lord, and You have promised (2 Samuel 7:28).

Jesus Christ … is the faithful witness (Revelation 1:5).

There before me was a white horse whose rider is called Faithful And True (Revelation 19:11).

A bruised reed He will not break; and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out.  In faithfulness He will bring forth justice (Isaiah 42:3).

Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist (Isaiah 11:5).

Love and faithfulness meet together. Righteousness and peace kiss each other.  Faithfulness [from Jesus] springs forth from the earth and righteousness [from the Father] looks down from heaven (Psalm 85:10-11).

He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings – and with Him will be His called, chosen and faithful followers (Revelation 17:14).

The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and faithfulness (1 Samuel 26:23).

A faithful man will be richly blessed… (Proverbs 28:20)

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms (1 Peter 4:10).

Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?  Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. (Matthew 24:45-46)

His master replied: well done, good and faithful servant!  You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Come and share in your master’s happiness! (Matthew 25:21, 23)

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good (1 Peter 4:19).

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12).
