God Loves To Hear From You

I thank the people that have already visited this site. It is in its infancy! And I’m not very good at blogging yet, or handling this editor very well (it appears). But I thank you for coming, and pray this site blesses whomever may show up here. Please excuse my attempts at blogging until I get the hang of things.

In the meantime, I will continue what I have started. That is to encourage God’s children to trust Him more. Believer, victory is your inheritance! Claim it!

We can all be heirs according to God’s promise to Abraham

Lord God, You are a merciful God. You will not abandon or destroy me, or forget the covenant with my spiritual forefathers, which You confirmed to them by an oath (Deuteronomy 4:31). Your Word says that if I belong to Jesus Christ, I too can be an heir of His promises (Galatians 3:29). Like Isaac, I am a child of Promise (Galatians 4:28). Therefore I plead these promises.

According to Your Word, O loving God, I belong to Christ Jesus; therefore I too am Abraham’s seed and heir according to the promise You gave him (Galatians 3:29). Father God, You promised to give me a heart to know You, that You are the Lord God. You promised I could be Your people and You would be my God, for I have indeed returned to You with all my heart (Jeremiah 24:7). My faithful God, who is the same yesterday and today and forever, please be to me what You were for Abram: my shield and my very great reward (Genesis 15:1).

Lord God, Abraham didn’t waiver in unbelief at Your promise, but was strengthened in his faith. I too am fully persuaded that what You promise You are able to perform. Because of this, like Abraham, You credit me with righteousness! (Romans 4:20-22) You made Jesus, who had no sin, to be sin for me, so that in Him I can claim the righteousness of God. I have placed myself in Jesus and have put my trust in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). I listen to Jesus and His message, and I believe God sent Him. So I have His eternal life in me (John 5:25). No man can take me out of His hand, for I have eternal life in Him (John 10:28).

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). I do not care how I feel, how it looks, or what the situation says. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I agree with the Word of God. I thank my God and praise Him because I am a new creation — His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10) — and the old me has passed away. I am fearfully and wonderfully re-made in Christ Jesus (Psalm 139:14).

It is because of God that I am in Christ Jesus, who has become for me wisdom from God — Jesus is my righteousness, holiness, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). Jesus is my Kinsman Redeemer and I owe Him my life.
